London Conference: @Media 2005 (Web Standards & Accessibility), 9th – 10th June

There’s an interesting conference coming to town (well, London), the @Media 2005 conference on Web Standards and Accessibility.

Bearing in mind we don’t all have budgets to go to conferences in far-flung locations I thought I’d highlight this one (I lost my option for BBC to pay for me to attend O’Reilly Etcon 🙁 as I’m now on attachment with a different department)

The much-respected Jeffrey Zeldman will be there, and you might even bump into BBC New’s very own Web Standards gurus Mike Byrne and Simon Levy (if they get to go). Definitely a good networking opportunity for those of you who appreciate such opportunities. I probably won’t be there I’m afraid, but you know how to get hold of me if you ever want to network or offer me that exciting CTO opportunity at your company!

Check out the complete line up. £345+VAT for a two day conference is pretty good going.

  1. Think I will be going. See you there?

Nah, as I said in my post – I doubt I’ll be going. My current work doesn’t really have a heavy Accessibility/Web Services aspect to it.

Obviously you know what my project is, Nick, but for those outside of work: More info coming – it’s going to be HOT.
